I have always had a passion for creating appropriate curriculums that suit different developmental stages of children ages 2 to 5. I have interests in cooking, crafting, and gardening – all of which I have successfully implemented in my preschool childcare programs. I enjoy talking to the children about their personal interests, answering their questions in an appropriate manner and encouraging their natural curiosity in useful and worldly subjects appropriate for their age.

Hi, I'm Ms. Kelsey! As the school administrator and a helping hand in all classrooms, I have the joy of supporting our little learners every day. I’m passionate about creating a warm, fun, and engaging environment where every child feels welcome and excited to grow. I love reading, video games, and Pokémon—interests that not only bring me joy but also help me connect with the kids on their level. Watching them learn, play, and develop new skills is incredibly rewarding, and I truly cherish the friendships we build along the way!

Kid call me Ms. Sam! I've been a lead teacher since 2019 and I'm a original Austinite who recently moved to Buda. I'm a loving aunt of 7 (and counting!), I'm a firm believer in the power of music and movement. I incorporate these elements into my teaching to engage and energize my students. I have a passion for toddler learning, particularly in areas like social-emotional regulation and foundational academic skills such as numbers, colors, and shapes. 

Hello! I’m Hailey! I was raised in Round Rock, Texas, but have recently moved to the Hays County area to continue my education. In my free time, I love reading, painting, and crafting. I believe that learning should be as colorful and imaginative as the children we care for, so I love to assist them with their arts and crafts, as well as story time. It is a privilege to help the little ones discover themselves and the world around them, and I feel as though I learn just as much from them as they do from me! I am thrilled to be supporting our amazing team and building lasting memories with the little ones as they embark on their early learning journey!

​I was born and raised in a small city name Canyon Lake, Texas. I am a mother to an amazing little boy, as well as a full time student at CTU. I have experience in childcare for 4 years now. Prior to working at Honey Bear I worked in other licensing childcare centers as a lead, along with my own in-home child care . I’ve always had the desire to educate and support children’s wisdom as they grow stronger each day. My role here at Honey bear is to give your child the education and encouragement that your child needs.

My name is Alina and I grew up here in South Austin. I attended the University of Providence in Montana, as well as Schreiner University, where I was a collegiate wrestler and received my bachelor’s degree in Pre-Law Political Science. While making the transition back to Austin after college, and always having a big heart for kids, I found myself working in child care and absolutely fell in love with everything about it! I believe the best part about working with children is being able to help them, and see their knowledge and confidence grow each day!
